New venue:
Brno, April 7-9, 2009

The International Stainless Steel Con-gress which is held every two years in the Czech Republic is now considered one of the most important events in the calendar of the stainless steel industry - world-wide. The Stainless 2009 Trade Fair will see a number of innovations: the new organisers and owners will be Messe Brünn, a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf.

Good things tend to develop further.

And particularly good things develop particularly well. The Inter-national Stainless Steel Congress, incorporating both an exhibition and conference, has been held four times in Ostrava in the Czech Republic. And especially exhibitors at the last event in 2007 will have noticed how the former steel metropolis and the exhibition centre with its relatively restricted space were threatening to burst at the seams. A move was, and is, unavoidable.

Scarcely more than 150km from Ostrava, Brno is eminently suitable as the new venue for this event - with exhibition halls which meet international standards, almost perfect national and international transport connections, more than sufficient hotel accommodation, and also everything that a modern exhibition city has to offer.

In conjunction with the move to Brno, the ownership of Stainless 2009 has also changed. The new organiser is Messe Brünn, a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf.

There will be no major changes for either exhibitors at Stainless 2009 or for visitors and conference delegates - apart from the fact that it will be much more comfortable.

Right from your arrival, the setting up of stands, the exclusive programme of presentations, and the subsequent visit to the old part of the city, right up to the popular Farewell Party. Particularly welcome: the moderate pricing structure will - despite the extensive improvements - remain to all intents and purposes the same!
